Greetings from the Pennsic 49 Land Staff!
ALL Land Agents should read ALL the Pennsic rules and policies before arriving on site. Enforcement of site rules and policies starts with Land Agents, and failure to follow through with your campers can lead to sanctions for your entire group.
New for Land Agent and Proxy Land Agent Sign In: Land Agent sign in now has an annual requirement for ALL Land Agents, On-site Representatives, and Proxy Land Agents to confirm their contact information and that they have read the Pennsic War and Land Agent rules. If you do not complete these confirmations then you cannot be a Land Agent or a Proxy Land Agent.
This year ONLY: At your initial sign-in, you will be required to establish a new (and more secure) password to access your Land Agent account.
Due to some confusion regarding the allowable size of wastewater sumps, we are clarifying the sump rule and will be strictly enforcing it.
No sumps shall be dug wider than 3 feet, longer than 3 feet or deeper than 3 feet. No exceptions! Covering a sump larger than the requisite 3 foot rule still breaks the rule. If your camp has been identified as exceeding this rule, you will be asked to fill in the hole and at the discretion of the Mayor may have sanctions placed against your camp.
REMEMBER: You as the Land Agent have the final say in who may camp with your group. You are not obliged to accept any camper who risks your groups' good standing with site staff, event staff, or the modern authorities. You may also reject campers because you don't know them or like the cut of their jib, but this authority is why the responsibility for enforcing Pennsic rules and policies lies first with you.
The Return of B08 (Not the geographic area, but the block NUMBER…)
B09 is being divided this year. B09 will remain at the Northside of Ledevoc Poboische and B08 will be established on the Southside of Ledevoc Poboische. Senior Groups for B09 will have the option to choose which block their Seniority is to be assigned to (B09 or B08). The traditional B08 space has now been dedicated to parking.
